The much awaited iOS 6.1 untethered jailbreak tool evasi0n developed by evad3rs is finished for Windows and Mac OS X, and it is the only Linux compatibility issues that is taking time. The update on the evasi0n.com site, clearly shows a progress bar with the message that the extended beta testing would be the next phase.
According to the official iPhone 5 jailbreak tool Web site, the Linux based software continues to be the hurdle, even so private beta testing for both Windows and the Mac OS X has started. Well, private beta testing does not reveal much and you can take it as testing by the team evad3rs itself.

Once released, the iPhone 5 jailbreak tool evasi0n will support all the iPhone and iPad running iOS 6.0, iOS 6.0.1, iOS 6.0.2, and iOS 6.1. The final version after completion of all the beta testing should be released for public download. All clues indicate Sunday as the D-day, but team evad3rs are not promising anything solid and it may take a couple of days more.
